Demineralization

The demineralization system is a collection of water treatment components that take municipal water and produce a high purity water for use as plant makeup water. The influent is first treated to remove organic elements; then, additional filtering and forwarding through reverse osmosis and EDI equipment produces a demineralized water suitable for use in the plant. Equipment is sized and selected to minimize the use of chemicals and need for frequent maintenance.
